Open Day 2018 – Saturday 2nd June

Have you ever wondered what’s behind the big red doors of St Peter’s? Come join our Open Day to explore this beautiful church and learn more about its place in local history.

St Peter’s Open Day is on Saturday 2nd June from 12-5pm as part of the Brockley Max Festival.

We welcome everyone to come and enjoy! :

  • Taking a tour, including the rare chance to climb to the top of the clock tower for spectacular views of Brockley and the city (tours can be booked in advance, see below)
  • Tea and cake
  • Quiet prayer room
  • Hearing the historic organ in action
  • Children’s activity area
  • Photo digitisation event by the Brockley Society. “Why should Facebook have all the best images? Help us build our own definitive visual record of Brockley’s streets, people and culture during the 20th Century!”

We have been overwhelmed by the interest in our tours and they are now all fully booked. Everyone is still more than welcome to visit us on the day and to have a look around our beautiful church.
