To donate fresh or non-perishable food items, please come to St Peter’s any Sunday between 9am and 7pm or any Tuesday between 12 and 2pm. A staff member or volunteer will be onsite to meet you.

Community Table is open on Wednesdays from 10am - 1pm. We would love to have you join our amazing team!  Please read below to find out how you might like to get involved.

Table Host

Host a table of 6-8 members, serving tea & cake and facilitating conversation

9:45am-12:45pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Kitchen - teas & coffees

Make hot drinks and cut cake for the hosts to serve to members; cleaning kitchen.

9:45am-12:45pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Registration & Welcome

Registering members, collecting monies, seating members, taking grocery orders

9:45am-12:45pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Volunteer Registration & Care

Registering and looking after volunteers' wellbeing; running a debrief with the group(s)

9:00am-1:00pm. Weekly.

Hospitality for Partner Groups

Taking care of the needs of all partner organisations who come to work with us

9:45am-12:45pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Help with form-filling and digital inclusion

Helping people fill in paper and digital forms

10am-12pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Community Meal - lunch prep

Assisting the cook in prepping monthly community lunch

9am-1pm. Monthly.

Kitchen - washing up

Weekly - cups & plates. Monthly - lunch dishes and cooking pots

11am-1:30pm. Weekly or monthly.

Groceries - packing

Packing groceries for distribution

9am-12pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Groceries - deliveries

Delivering groceries to people's homes

12-2pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Groceries - orders

Collecting members' grocery orders and taking them to packing team

9am-1pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly

Clean-up/pack down

Putting away furniture, sweeping, mopping and ensuring kitchen and toilets are clean

9:45am-12:45pm. Weekly, biweekly or monthly
