Gerry Rogers plays tenor sax, guitar, bass and percussion in the contexts of jazz, Christian worship and adult education. He has played in a wide variety of London venues including Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, King's Place and Somerset House'.

John Kyle is a musician from Belfast who has been living in London for the last 15 years. He is a folk singer and songwriter of 25 years. He has a side project as an ambient musician and composer

PHIL ALLEN

Phil Allen has been playing and writing music for over 50 years. He has been attached to the St Peters church family in Brockley for the last 8 years. You will normally find Phil at St Peter's on a Sunday either leading the band or attempting to host the large number of kids we have in the church. You might also find him on a Friday or Saturday night gigging with the Four Hoarsemen, a rock and indie covers band somewhere in SE London

What happens when a group of parents meets at the school gates and realizes they share a soul for the blues? You get Blues Tonics—a high-energy quintet that proves the best collaborations start in the playground.

Formed by parents of children at Ashmead Primary School, Blues Tonics traded PTA meetings for rehearsals and school runs for guitar runs. What began as a local neighbourhood project has evolved into a tight-knit ensemble known for their authentic sound, gritty rhythms, and undeniable chemistry.

The band brings together a diverse range of musical influences, anchored by a shared love for timeless grooves:

• Maria (Vocals): The powerhouse of the group, Maria leads with soulful, evocative vocals that can go from a whisper to a roar.

• Scott (Guitar): Bringing the sting and the sustain, Scott’s lead lines provide the band's signature blues-rock edge.

• Christian (Guitar): Completing the dual-guitar attack, Christian adds rich textures and rhythmic depth to every track.

• Danny (Bass): The heartbeat of the band, Danny keeps things grounded with deep, melodic grooves.

• Jorge (Drums): Providing the engine room, Jorge’s precision and flair ensure the "tonics" always have a shot of adrenaline.
